Heritage Wake Forest

Heritage Wake Forest is one of the Triangle's premier golf and modern lifestyle communities. Located near vibrant downtown Wake Forest, with its historic homes on tree-lined streets, is Heritage Wake Forest. What was once the Marshall-Stroud Dairy Farm is now a golfer's heaven. The Award winning par-72, 6,929-yard Heritage Golf Course spreads out over 200 acres of beautiful rolling hills and features more than 100 strategically placed pot bunkers, three holes that play along winding creeks, and six holes where natural lakes come into play.
There are currently 30 distinct residential neighborhoods at Heritage Wake Forest covering every price range and size. New Schools, 120 acres of soccer fields, walking & biking trails, parks, swimming pool, tennis courts, retail and medical offices are all located within Heritage Wake Forest, which was named Master Planned Community of the Year for 2003 by the North Carolina Home Builders Association.
Heritage Wake Forest has captured the community atmosphere that has been lost by most communities. This nostalgic neighborhood, with its friendly atmosphere will create the same memories you grew up with. The custom built homes incorporate special features from homes of yesterday blended with designs of today. Town of Wake Forest
The town of Wake Forest was created when the state's Baptist leaders opened a ministerial school there in 1834. The 615-acre plantation of Dr. Calvin Jones was acquired for the college, and his house became the first college building. The college was very important to the growth and prosperity of Wake Forest from the 1830s through the mid-1900s. In 1956, the college was relocated to Winston-Salem North Carolina. Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary now occupies the campus.
The historic town of Wake Forest, while being in close proximity of Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Durham, allows for unlimited shopping, diverse entertainment and fine dining. The town's well-preserved business district includes a wide variety of architectural styles illustrating more than 125 years of development. In addition, the nearby universities of North Carolina State, University of North Carolina and Duke University and many other colleges make the area a sports enthusiast paradise as well as a rich cultural resource.
